With great excitement and joy, I present to you all Nektar - a no-code solution for revenue operations and customer-facing teams.
### The Plot
Before I founded Nektar.ai in February 2020, I spent more than a decade in B2B sales, and I can confidently say that there is no sales rep out there who wants to update a CRM. A sales persons’ day is packed with countless follow-ups, endless meetings, research, discovery, demo, navigating the buying committee, handling competition, and doing internal reviews…. - there is just no time for reps to update a CRM. And so, a CRM is perennially missing critical revenue data.
Buyer contacts and engagement activities along the revenue funnel are the fundamental data blocks that can answer any business question. While such data should ideally reside in a company’s system of record (aka nervous system) - the CRM, more than 50% of contact and activity data remains outside a CRM, siloed in disconnected tools. Today is a big day for Nektar. So before I continue, I wish to extend my gratitude to my Product and Engineering team who supported us with 100% faith in our product vision.
Building a product in a category that is rapidly getting overcrowded, and yet building it to successfully differentiate from every other tool in the space is one of the best challenges that Engineering and Product teams can solve. So when Abhijeet Vijayvergiya approached me with his idea for Nektar, I had to say YES 💯
After months of product and user research, we established 3 key product goals:

I am building Nektar because..... while CRMs were launched to be the single source of truth and drive sales activities and forecasting, it has failed to do so. I have been part of CRM product engineering teams building forecasting tools and enhancements to make the life of sales agents and sales managers easier and more predictable.
Almost all these tools/features fall flat on the face because of "poor data". How can we expect to forecast, when we don't have data or the data is incorrect. It is a big burden to keep the CRM updated and track all revenue generating activities performed and the buyer committees mapped. All of this generally depends on sales agents to manually update the CRM with the data on their activities. What would sales agents do… more sales or data entry?
I joined Nektar as the problem being targeted is one that I had seen first hand and to be honest had frustrated me in my previous endeavours. Getting data into the CRM with no manual effort and maintaining data hygiene is something which I feel is a problem worth solving and to be honest … we are rocking it here at Nektar. You have to try it to believe it…
Do a scan, check the gaps and decide for yourself…

@baqir Now that living nightmare of lost data will never haunt you since nektar is curating a better world for the sales and revops folks.
I am building Nektar because I have been there, in the shoes of the sales rep in a toxic relationship with my CRM. I have been there in the goose chase by my manager for trying to get me to update my CRM and I have been in the shoes of RevOps bearing the brunt of maintaining data hygiene. I am building Nektar because I say no to manual CRM updates. I say no to crucial insights falling through the cracks and I say yes to Nektar.

I'm building Nektar.ai because I have faith in the leadership’s goal of making lives of salespeople better.
Before I joined as the 5th Engineer (10th employee) of the company, I asked my CEO @abhijeet_vijayvergiya “Why start this startup?” and his earnest response was that it was hard to let go of salespeople because they couldn’t hit their quotas - if they would’ve had tools like Nektar, they wouldn’t need to be fired, the salespeople and their manager would both be happy and the company would make achieve its annual goals.
