Okay provides analytics to help engineering leaders and their teams unlock developer productivity. Connect all your dev tools and quickly identify what’s blocking your team - from long review cycles to on-call load to slow environments.
Hi Product Hunters!
We made Okay because, as software engineers and then as managers, we were shocked by the lack of visibility into the bottlenecks that slow engineering teams down. We decided to build an analytics tool on solid foundations - focusing on team signals as opposed to big-brother style monitoring of individuals, and giving our users the same amount of querying power they would expect from an APM or telemetry tool.
We’ve led teams from 5 to 150 engineers in startups and in big tech companies. The blockers to productivity are similar: long meetings, context switching, oncall pages eating into the team’s work-life balance, slow local environments, inefficient code review culture, etc.
Fortunately, we live in a thriving ecosystem of dev tools with great APIs. Okay acquires, cleans up and enriches all this data with information about your org, squads, remote offices - you name it. We model common metrics like Cycle Time and Interview Load for you, and you can also bring your own events to get a full picture of your team’s work. Then, we give you a flexible query and alerting engine to root-cause issues and drive improvements in the long run.

When is jira integration is going to be added? I think it's the big one needed. And how do you guys compare to similar products like: haystack, processlabs, etc?
@ruslann Thanks for your interest in Okay! Our JIRA integration will come later this year. In the meantime, we also support custom events, which you can send to Okay through our API. For example, if you want to track incidents and time to resolution, using custom events might actually have higher fidelity than relying on JIRA. It all depends on the usecase!

“I love what you guys are doing and know that resources are tight at your stage. Any chance I can help you with your product development - even on a pro bono basis?”

would love to propose this to my boss, but was wondering if there was a page showing supported integrations / roadmap for future integrations? also, is this purely cloud-based or is there a self-hosted offering?
