Hi Product Hunt! 👋 My name is Anish, co-founder of AI Concierge, based in Dubai. I recently graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles and decided to build something around a problem I had experienced for years: travel planning. Throughout college, I was always the planner in my friend group. I didn't mind organizing trips, but I started noticing how fragmented the whole process was. You jump between OTAs, airline websites, Google Maps, visa websites, train platforms, spreadsheets, and countless tabs; and don't get me started about collecting everyone's information and booking everything individually! I wanted to build something that could actually understand the traveler and, importantly, actually book what they want in one place rather than another AI itinerary generator. Interestingly, AI Concierge didn't start as an app. Our first version was a WhatsApp-based travel agent designed to facilitate bookings manually. It was a great way to test the concept, but we quickly ran into a fundamental problem: WhatsApp's pricing model meant we could incur additional costs when following up with customers outside certain messaging windows. It simply wasn't a sustainable way to build the experience we wanted. So we pivoted to a travel planning app. And then... we got carried away. 😅 What started as a simple travel planner has evolved into a full-fledged AI travel concierge that can recommend, plan, book, organize, and manage your entire trip. You can book hotels, flights, European trains, eSIMs, airport services, transfers, and more while also adding things you've booked elsewhere. Your preferences, dietary requirements, travel documents, and other details can be stored so the AI can make recommendations that actually feel personal. We've also partnered with companies such as Viator (Tripadvisor) and SIXT to bring quality travel products onto the platform. We also work with travel aggregators to access bulk hotel rates, allowing us to offer hotels that can be up to 30% cheaper than traditional OTAs. There are no subscriptions and no hidden fees. Transparency is one of our core values, and we're building AI Concierge around the idea that travel should feel simple, clear, and personal.
