Hey Product Hunt! I'm excited to share Airtable MCP – a tool that lets Claude and other AI assistants directly work with your Airtable bases through natural language. Why I built this: As a developer working with both Airtable and AI tools, I found myself constantly context-switching between platforms. I thought, "What if Claude could just talk to my Airtable directly?" – and that's how this project was born. How it works (a quick demo conversation): Me: "Claude, can you list all the tables in my Airtable base?" Claude: "I'll check that for you." [Claude uses Airtable MCP behind the scenes] "Your base contains 3 tables: Projects, Tasks, and Team Members. The Projects table has 12 records, Tasks has 47 records, and Team Members has 8 records." Me: "Great, can you show me all overdue tasks assigned to Sarah?" Claude: "Let me find those for you." [Claude queries Airtable using the MCP server] "I found 3 overdue tasks assigned to Sarah: 1. 'Update client proposal' - Due: Yesterday 2. 'Send Q3 report' - Due: 2 days ago 3. 'Finalize presentation slides' - Due: 4 days ago" Me: "Please create a new task for the marketing team with a deadline of next Friday" Claude: "I'll create that for you." [Claude uses the MCP server to add a record] "Task created successfully! I've added 'New Marketing Initiative' to the Tasks table with a deadline of next Friday and assigned it to the Marketing team."
