I apologize for this long review but I do hope this helps out to anyone consider using a pot for pot who might be a bit skeptical...
I been a metal worker all my life until an injury. I never grew anything in my life other then mold on a pizza box. I wanted to grow my own medication for reasons but was pretty overwhelmed reading the grow blogs and how complex they make it seem, which left me even more baffled although still kept my interest trying to study every aspect I could. I came across apotforpot and was kind of skeptic about them, but figured what the heck, Ill give them a try. I got the full kit and an expansion kit with it in case one died. I will admit, before hand I got a small tent, light, fans etc to be ready as I could... I placed my order and shipped surprisingly fast to me from Cali to Kentucky. Also shipped extremely discrete which is a huge plus being my state kind of frowns on this. Even my cc bank statement was discrete as well. Before starting I read the instructions a few times over to get a feel for what I was about to do. Kit looked pretty simple, I just expected to grow a basic plant which is good enough for me... Well, both seeds did germ and the pods I translated them into, the sproutlings shot up pretty fast. I did have a few fears if I were doing something wrong, email the p4p crew with a question now and then, and I get a reply back with in 24 hours at most, explaining to me what I asked in great detail to help me learn, including have me taking close ups of leaves to see if I might have a deficency of some kind and then reply explainging in full whats going on and such, which is what I also wish to accomplish with this new journey on growing. So far I just had false alarms, but again, p4p crew helped me learn and understand what to look for. Both plants are literally thriving as if they are identical twins. NL autos, their both almost exactly one foot in height, and branching out really nice and wide. I decided to NOT lst these and let them grow as naturally as I can according to the instructions of the kits minus a little trimming when that comes about, so I can personally see and study my tow plants and how I could properly lst next time around. My two plants are still young atm, but thriving like you wouldnt believe. I wish I could post a few photos but I dont see where I can on here, but their beautiful. literally worthy to be among alot of the plant photos I see from much more advanced growers on message forums. Im VERY proud of myself with this.
Here is my take on a pot for pot. I now love growing about as much as enjoying the benefits that it produces. I still have hospital stays now and then and need some sort of light physical activity, which, growing is perfect for this. Plus, just to be honest, I dont have the time to experiment with different soils and nutes until I get it right. That could take a long time to do, which p4p has the kit all ready to go. Only thing you need to add is light if your using a tent, fan, and water, and seeds, in which on purchase you get a nice coupon and a link from a great seedery with many nice strains to pick from.
A pot for pot literally has someone who has never grown ANYTHING his entire life, growing two beautiful plants that are pretty much imo, award quality. So, after my first grow, WHY would I want to stop using p4p products to trying to do it myself.
A p4p has my loyalty!!!
Im kind of confident my next grow I might be able to put three plants in my tent but might be kind of tight. And also, when to order my next expansion kits to start germinating while last harvest is drying as to keep a systematic pattern going.
In all honesty, I know I could contact the p4p crew with some photos of my set up "which I have done with them many times before" and get some help. These guys are grow gurus. And they honestly come off as not so much as just wanting to make some money, but they honestly care about their customers and grows, otherwise they wouldnt reply back with in 24 hrs with details to help you along. They DON'T just sell to you then forget about you, leaving you on your own and in the dark. Just email them any time with a question... They have proven to be most caring and helpful each and every time...
P4P just cuts out all the hassle so you can get to growing asap...
Sorry about the long post, its just that this is how much Im overly amazed with this fine company. As I said, I wont even consider mixing my own soils and nute mixtures and stuff. Just stick with what works, and while the bags that come with p4p kits look generic, they are anything but generic. They seem to have some special blend for potting soil that once your roots touch it, your plants seem to just sky rocket in growth. Not to mention, the p4p crew when emailing back and forth, make you feel kind of like family. Good people, extremely intelligent about growing.
For the price, its worth a shot, as long as you follow the instructions, you to will be blown away by the results... But I think once you try p4p, you really might consider just sticking with them, because the final result is what Im ultimately growing for...
Anyway, Im off "finally" to go check up on my plants with my puppy, but I do really hope this post helps out with any skepticism about a pot for pot products and staff...
Literally can't thank the P4P crew enough. Happy growing!!!
