Design a card once, then let your site or your coding agent make the rest. Save a template and every page gets its own og:image from a signed URL, or a PNG from the REST API. The MCP server lets Claude, Cursor and VS Code turn any page URL into a card, check link previews and write meta tags. Images come from a template renderer, not a generative model, so text and layout come out as designed. 111 designs, 6 platform sizes, and a free editor with no signup when you only need one card.

Hi Product Hunt! I built betterimage.io because every new page needs a link preview image and making them by hand doesn't last past the first few posts.
You design a card once and save it as a template. After that there are three ways to automate it.
Signed URL: put it in your og:image tag and each page gets its own card. There are tested guides for Next.js, Astro, Hugo and WordPress.
REST API: send the text and a photo, get a PNG back. One design can cover a whole product catalogue.
MCP server: connect it to Claude, Cursor or VS Code, then ask your agent to make a card for any page URL, check how a link previews, or write the meta tags.
The renderer works from templates and doesn't use a generative image model, so your text and layout come out the way you designed them.
You can try the MCP server and the editor without an account. Previews carry a small watermark. Clean images cost $4.99 one time, or come with API plans from $9/month.
I'd most like to hear from people who try this on a real site or with a real agent: what stopped you, and what's missing?
