Bubble genuinely lets you build stuff that would normally require a full dev team. I used it to prototype a multi-step onboarding flow with a real backend, conditional logic, and user auth, and it actually held up. The visual workflow editor takes some getting used to but once it clicks, it's hard to go back.
The learning curve is steeper than the marketing suggests though. The first week was a lot of forum digging and watching tutorial videos just to understand how Bubble's data model works. Not a dealbreaker, but if you expect to open it and build something useful in an afternoon, that's probably not realistic.
Mobile responsiveness is still the weakest spot. Getting the layout to behave across different screen sizes requires a lot of manual tweaking that feels like it should just work by now. For web apps it's solid, for anything mobile-first I'd look elsewhere.
