We soft-launched DealData.net as a $100/month paid product roughly a decade ago, and didn't get traction. Recently, we updated the data through the present and are releasing the basic service completely free to the public. Unlike other Form D aggregators, we don't just regurgitate the individual filings. We assemble detailed entity profiles (and keep them updated) that reflect the filing history of that entity from 1/2009 to the present. That lets us expose relationships between people and companies/funds. For example: Consensys Software ( https://dealdata.net/company-pro... ) filed Form Ds for two separate rounds, and two of its directors were affiliated with other companies. Ben Horowitz ( https://dealdata.net/people-prof... ) is affiliated with a lot of funds and companies. One time, he was listed as "Benjamin Horowitz" ( https://dealdata.net/people-prof... ), when he served as a director of Foursquare. You can go to the home page to search for companies/funds, people, or brokers, or search for all filings that match certain criteria within a date range. There is also a paid JSON API available, that exposes a lot more data than we expose on the main website. We can also pull paid custom reports with additional data.
