Hey Product Hunt! π
I built DemoStudio because I kept watching great apps fail at distribution β not because the product wasn't good, but because founders had no way to make scroll-stopping video content without hiring a UGC
creator, spending weeks coordinating, and blowing $500+ per clip.
The workflow is simple: describe your app (or just drop your website URL β we'll read it), and DemoStudio writes the script, breaks it into scenes, generates AI video or animated text cards, adds a
voiceover, and exports a 9:16 Instagram Reel. The whole thing takes a few minutes, not weeks.
A few things I'm particularly proud of:
- It actually understands your product. Paste your URL and the AI reads your landing page copy, value props, and features β then writes scenes specific to your app, not generic filler.
- Figma import. Drop your Figma link and select frames to use as brand assets. Your real UI, in the video.
- Per-scene control. Every scene is editable β swap visuals, rewrite text, change the background style, regenerate individually. It's a real editor, not a one-shot generator.
- Brand color inference. The AI now picks your brand color from your description or website and uses it as the canvas background on text cards β no manual input needed.
Pricing is credit-based and the generator is free to try β you only spend credits when you export.
Would love feedback from founders who've tried to get app promo videos made before β what was the most painful part of the process for you?
Can the Figma import handle dark mode frames or does it work best with light backgrounds? That would be key for dev tool marketing. Looks really useful!

@mcarmonasΒ Thank you for your response. The background doesn't matter. All selected images go through image analysis for features extraction. e.g, what is it, what color is dominant etc. This data is used to make decision during compositing. The major bottleneck is is not hitting too many request error from figma. Yet to figure out how to fix that.
