Absolute not happy with their service. I live abroad and bought term insurance as per the suggestion of Ditto. After a severe thought purchased the Insurance and until the payment was complete and insurance was issued, there was no discussion about GST Refund. By the time I knew the info, they said getting a refund was impossible. After a lot of cry, they agreed to process it under special consideration. After almost 3 months of hassle and sharing of multiple documents and statements, the final verdict was No GST Refund as payment was performed using an NRO Savings account and not an NRE Savings account.
The agent either had no clear idea of what info was supposed to share or they are trying to hide this information for some kind of benefit.
Individually I am not happy with their service and certainly would not recommend purchasing a policy through them. Better do your homework and use their service or stay away from them.
Ditto insurance was so helpful to me while I was trying to choose an appropriate insurance plan. An overall support was provided by the ditto personnel explaining all the aspects of the proposed insurance schemes by providing curated content with pros and cons of each scheme.
I took the MaxLife term insurance plan through Ditto's assistance. As they say, they did not make spam calls or push me to take policy until I understood. I was being assisted by Aditi Patil, a Ditto member, who was quick to respond to queries and polite to converse on any term insurance-related issues. I took the policy as an NRI and could avail of the GST waiver option. They informed me to pay the premium using an NRE account (Although I was aware of this through my research). On any day, through my experience, I would suggest taking Ditto's assistance for a term insurance policy.
I had a highly disappointing experience with the Ditto Insurance requirements team. After completing the first round of interviews, I received no follow-up communication despite multiple attempts to seek feedback. The lack of responsiveness and professionalism was quite frustrating and reflected poorly on the company's recruitment process.
