Dots are always on agents in ChatGPT, powered by GPT‑6 Astra. Each dot has its own cloud computer and browser, connects to over 4,000 apps through plugins, and can work toward your goals 24/7. Message or call your dot in ChatGPT on desktop, web, and mobile, or message it in Slack and Teams. It learns your preferences from feedback and brings you finished work to review. Custom Rules, Activity View, and auto review keep you in control. Rolling out now to Pro and Business Premium.

Hey PH community 👋
Excited to hunt Dots today. ChatGPT joins the personal AI agents race with the launch of “Dots”
After Grok Bot, Instinct, Muse this is another co sign of this emerging category.
OpenAI just gave ChatGPT an always on agent that keeps working toward your goals around the clock. Each dot runs on GPT‑6 Astra with its own cloud computer, its own browser, and the apps you connect, so it can take a project and run with it between conversations.
The proactive part is what stood out for me. Your dot learns how you work from your feedback, spots what needs attention, and brings you finished work to review. OpenAI shared that one early tester's dot noticed he had forgotten to invoice a publication, prepared the invoice, and sent it once he approved.
You can reach it where you already work, in ChatGPT on desktop, web, and mobile, or in Slack and Teams, and you can hop on a voice call when you want to talk something through. Custom Rules and Activity View keep you in charge of what it does on its own. It's rolling out now for Pro and Business Premium 🙌

Give it a spin and let the team know what you create with Dots 🚀
@thisiskp_ The proactive part sounds really useful having an agent notice things before i do could save a lot of time

Looking great, haven't tested it yet, but will give it a try! How does it differ from the ChatGPT app?

@matheus_paranhos1 this is dramatically different as it’s an always on agent with a virtual machine / cloud computer dedicated to you

Giving each agent its own cloud computer and browser is the detail that makes always on work actually plausible. The proactive example of spotting an uninvoiced project and drafting it is a good sign of where this is heading. Nice to see the activity view for keeping an eye on what runs on its own.
