See how fast we're using the planet. Earth Stats counts the carbon left before 1.5 °C, forests, water, energy and every country live, on a 3D Earth that turns to where each number happens.
Every number comes with a line you can picture, like a football pitch of rainforest lost every 3.4 seconds, and a source. Play the daily Planet Quiz or spend the carbon budget yourself. Free, no signup, no ads.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Aymaan, and I built Earth Stats.
I kept running into the classic world-counter sites: walls of tiny numbers that are hard to feel anything about. I wanted the opposite. One number at a time, calm and beautiful, with a plain line that makes it land.
It opens on the number I think matters most: the carbon we have left before 1.5 °C of warming. At today's pace, that's about 3 years.
What's inside:
• 73 live stats on climate, energy, food, water, health and more, each with a comparison you can picture (a football pitch of rainforest lost every 3.4 seconds)
• A 3D Earth that turns to where each number is happening: the Amazon for rainforest, the Himalaya for glacier ice
• Every country, live: click it on the globe or search for it
• Play: a daily 10-question Planet Quiz, Spend the Carbon Budget, and Earth Streak for small daily habits
Every figure is modelled from published sources (UN, WHO, IEA, FAO, Global Carbon Budget, NOAA), and the Sources page shows exactly how.
It's free, with no signup and no ads. Open it on a laptop for the full 8K globe.
I'd love your feedback on two things: which number surprised you most, and anything that feels off on your device.
Giving every number a picture like a football pitch of rainforest every 3.4 seconds is the trick that makes those statistics land, since the raw figures stopped meaning anything to me years ago.
