Tired of downloading files from monday.com just to shrink them somewhere else and upload them back? File Compress handles that for you, right on your board. It compresses images and PDFs, then bundles files together into a ZIP whenever you need to hand off a clean package. Set it up once with automation recipes triggered by file uploads, status changes, or button clicks, and compression just becomes part of how your board already works. 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Zack, the maker of File Compress.
I built this after noticing how many monday.com boards end up clogged with large image and PDF files, and how much manual work goes into shrinking them. The usual routine was downloading files, running them through some compression tool, then uploading them back. I wanted to remove that step entirely.
File Compress runs inside monday.com using its own automation engine. You set a recipe once (on file upload, status change, or button click) and compression or zipping just happens as part of your board's workflow from then on.
A few things I focused on while building this:
Support for all the common image formats (JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, BMP, GIF) plus PDFs, with three compression levels so you control the quality-to-size tradeoff.
This is still early for us, so I would love to hear what you think, and any workflows you'd want to see supported next. Happy to answer any questions here.
