I have been using Fing for about three months now, and I must say it's a fantastic networking utility. I find Fing to be very user-friendly and easy to use. It allows me to see my entire network and all the devices connected to it at once, which makes network management much more manageable.
However, I have noticed that some of the features are not complete or well thought out. For instance, the "Access point has insufficient protection" alert does not provide sufficient information on what exactly is wrong or how to fix it. I think the developers need to go through the app and look at all the "little things" to ensure everything is properly worded and executed.
Despite these minor issues, I still find Fing to be the best app for viewing home network status and overall home network management. No other app has yet to do what Fing does, and I am impressed by its ease of use and the ability to see my network's overall status.
Customer support is really bad. This company does not care about providing good customer service. I had problems with my annual subscription and they didn't make an effort to resolve and keep me as a customer.
I paid for 1 year of service, it only worked for a few months (they don't want to solve the problem) and they don't refund the amount proportional to the remaining period.
Excellent to see who's in offline and who they are.
Id like to know connections also! Mt external router has 2 WiFi connections. How to identify?
Then...how to tell which has internet connection, activity. I have connections, but no internet
As someone who likes to know what and how my home network is doing, Fing is great tool. I can monitor the security, connection speeds from my ISP, who is on my network, and block anyone who shouldn't be on it.
Great product - Lets you quickly answer the question 'What's on my network?' as well as control some aspects of it. They also usually figure out what it is too using a giant database of products that gets better over time as users tell it it's wrong & put the correct device in. Tons of other features, go to their page - they explain it better than I could. Check out the Fingbox too.
