Transitioning to zero drop or barefoot shoes isn’t a simple change over and takes a little time. Think of your hands wearing gloves and then switching to mittens. There is a feel like you aren’t used to, your feet are free. The shoes are very light, extremely flexible and literally your feet feel free - almost like you are not wearing shoes. I have everything from All Birds, to Nikes, to Asics, adidas and down the line and now I think my feet are spoiled from wearing my Flux Adapt Trainers. I like shoes and I am a shoe guy but now think I’m going to be a “Posher” as I’m not sure I need the other shoes anymore. That. Wing said I’m excited to try the new Flux Runner for my more high mileage walking. The Trainers are perfect for working out in the gym, my stand up desk, and casual wear (you cannot go wrong with the all black). They are good for distance walking bu anxious to use the Runner which will be better suited for high mileage walking and running. Oh, super easy to throw in the wash on cool temp, no dryer and let them air dry and they’ll be back on your feet good as new.
My favorite shoes by far. I’ve had and loved a variety of shoes with different philosophies (from AllBirds to the Nike Pegasus), and these are by far my favorite. I have a pair of high tops for weightlifting and a pair of runners for everyday life. I could not say enough good things about this shoe.
I’ve also had a great experience with the company. I’ve exchanged shoes for different colors and sizes several times, and they’ve only ever had excellent and smooth customer service.
