Fulvid is an open source Markdown and MDX editor for open knowledge. Keep your knowledge in portable Markdown files on disk, ready to read, link, reuse, version, and work with across tools and LLM workflows. Search, preview, document links, and Graph navigation stay close to the filesystem. No proprietary vault or cloud workspace.
Happy launch day. How does the Graph view hold up once a folder has a few thousand files in it?
@protsenkoalexandra The graph is deterministic and bounded, so it will always show you the same local view for a note and won't slow down the editor.
@imgildev Thanks Manuel, that answers it. A bounded local view sounds like the right call.
@alex_koo It's based on some of the VS Code extensions I've built and on the Monaco Editor used by VS Code, but it's not an extension.
Fulvid is a standalone application for editing Markdown that doesn't rely on extensions to navigate through notes.
