In a shocking move, Gitscrum has implemented absurdly short task retention limits (2 months) within their system, showcasing a complete disregard for user needs and satisfaction. This unscrupulous decision reeks of greed and a blatant attempt to force users who were early adopters into purchasing expensive upgrades. It is a disgraceful betrayal of trust and loyalty.

A Betrayal of Trust: GitScrum's Deceptive Business Practices
GitScrum, a company that once touted itself as a reliable CRM solution provider, has shown its true colors through a series of dishonest actions. In 2018, we were enticed by their so-called "lifetime deal," which promised unlimited projects, unlimited users, and unlimited data retention. However, their recent changes to their plans starting from June 1st, 2023, have left us feeling utterly deceived and cheated.
The most outrageous aspect of this ordeal is GitScrum's decision to abruptly reduce the data retention period to a mere two months. This is a blatant violation of the original agreement we entered into with the company. How can a company that once championed unlimited data retention suddenly restrict us to such a limited timeframe? It is an affront to their customers' trust and a demonstration of their complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
To make matters worse, GitScrum's response to this unjust alteration has been nothing short of extortion. Instead of rectifying their mistake or offering a fair solution, they are now pressuring us to upgrade our plan to the Gitscrum All-in-one plan, either on a monthly or annual basis, which comes at a significantly higher cost than the original lifetime deal we paid for. This maneuver is a clear departure from the initial agreement and is designed to exploit customers who trusted in their lifetime deal offering.
GitScrum's willingness to demand more money for features that were initially promised as part of a lifetime deal is not only unethical but also deeply disappointing. It demonstrates their lack of integrity and their inability to uphold their end of the bargain. As customers, we feel cheated and betrayed by a company that has shown itself to be more interested in maximizing profits than in fostering long-term relationships with its clients.
This deceptive behavior has had severe consequences for our business operations. We relied on the supposed lifetime features, including unlimited data retention, to effectively manage and analyze our projects. With the new restrictions, our ability to make informed decisions has been severely compromised. GitScrum's actions have caused significant disruption and inconvenience, leading us to question their credibility and competence as a CRM provider.
In light of this deeply disappointing experience, I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of GitScrum. Their dishonest practices, breach of trust, and attempts to extort additional funds from their customers make them unworthy of any further consideration. It is imperative to seek out alternative CRM solutions that value transparency, integrity, and customer satisfaction.

This company is a scam. We bought a lifetimedeal without any limitations of space and since 1 jan of 2023, the pushed us to buy a All-in-one suscription in order to maintain all our information. Run away as soon as possible from this company!!!

This company scams its users with arbitrary price and rule adjustments.
We 'invested' in this company early on by purchasing a LifeTime deal. This deal was for a workspace with no limits on number of users, storage, etc. Now they want to force a monthly subscription on all users, which costs annually what we paid once as LifeTime price, or you can only store your data for 3 months, after that all data, tasks etc. will be deleted.
What is especially bad, this was announced to us 1.5 weeks before the change was introduced. A completely absurd deadline.
Stay away from this company and with it Gitscrum.

It's a pity.
At first I bought it because it was unlimited without any tricks, but every month for one reason or another they ask me to upgrade.
However, when I email with technical support issues, there is no response.
It is a program with potential, but it is not possible to create a profit model erratically due to a misjudgment by someone running the business, and this software will be rejected by users.

We purchased a lifetime deal and now getting all tasks erased after 3 months. I understand the cost of maintaining data, but why not 2-years or even 1-years? Would you buy a project management product in which all tasks are erased after 3 months? Can you plan/manage anything if its lifetime is only 3 months?
It's really a bad move, GitScrum's owners!

I do not have -5 option here to rate them -5/5.
They are scam with poor support, hyping their application which is broken and lake features. They didn't provide any phone app in last five years. I subscribed for lifetime deal four years back. I didn't use it because it was unusable and broken. After fours I wanted to try it for a small stuff but found out that the subscription has turned into monthly with the trick of two months data retention.
Anyone who is serious in their projects must stay away from gitscrum which is definitely a scam company.

I purchased a lifetime license with high expectations, but the experience has been disastrous. GitScrum has arbitrarily changed the license terms, rendering it almost useless as essential features are now behind a paywall. Many users, including myself, are forced to pay a monthly subscription to access our own stored data. This not only seems like a scam but also shows a total lack of respect toward loyal customers who supported the platform in its early days.
The service is now practically unusable, with invasive ads and limited features. The data retention policy, which now requires additional payments to maintain access, is unacceptable. Additionally, customer support is deficient and unhelpful, taking days to respond and dismissing legitimate complaints.
Technically, the site is slow, riddled with errors, and the user interface is not intuitive. All of this, combined with virtually non-existent customer service, makes GitScrum not worth it. I feel deeply disappointed and defrauded by the poor management and commercial decisions of this company.
I do not recommend GitScrum to anyone and suggest looking for more reliable and professional alternatives. The company has lost all credibility and it is better to avoid investing time and money in such an unstable and poorly managed platform.
