Does not recommend this product
I knew this day was coming, reading stories on the internet.
They deactivated my account after 2 month for suspicious activity. I asked them to tell me what the exact issue is and they wouldnt tell me.
This is the response i reveived from support:
"Our automated system had reviewed your Honeygain account and found that your activity is in breach of our Terms of Use. Due to the findings a compliance decision was made to terminate your Honeygain account. The use of any automated deployments that violate the principle of the application as it was intended is prohibited."
Im running this app on my windows PC with a static IP and only I use my PC and yet suspicious activity?
Oh also some of the data that went through my connection to do with the honeyapp was picked up by my antivirus which means that not only is your bandwidth being used for suspicious activity but its also unecrypted data - which means that you are able to view and read what unecrypted data passes through the app.
Very unproffesional in my oppinion and you should think twice before sharing your bandwith with unknown companies.
