Hi everyone, I'm David and I made Jobmate AI.
I've been through a long job search myself, and most of my time went into the same small tasks over and over: filling in my details on every application, rewriting my resume for each role, looking for someone at the company to message, and trying to remember where each application stood. Very little of it was the part that actually helps you get hired.
Jobmate AI handles those tasks for you:
→ It fills in application forms from your profile, including the written questions, and shows you every answer before it goes in.
→ Auto-apply can go through applications for you. You can choose to review each one before it's submitted.
→ It pulls new roles from company career pages and job boards into one feed.
→ It tailors your resume and cover letter to the job you're looking at.
→ It finds recruiters and hiring managers at the company so you can reach out to them.
→ It keeps track of your applications and picks up interviews from Google or Outlook Calendar.
You can start for free, and it works on Chrome and Firefox.
It's still early, so I'd really like to hear what you think, especially anything that doesn't work the way you'd expect. I'll be replying to comments throughout the day.
@daveyhert Thanks for building this. Giving it a try today.
Uploading a resume and then typing the same information into a form is such a frustrating part of job hunting. The autofill alone has a clear use case. Congrats, David!
There’s a lot of admin involved in looking for work, especially when you’re already working full time. Hope this gives people a bit of breathing room.
reviewing the written answers before they go in is the part i would keep switched on
saving time on forms helps but the application still needs to sound like the person applying
