Meadow lets you plant a song at a real place. Walk by and you can listen to what someone left there, collect it, and plant your own for the next person. No algorithm, just music that people chose for a place. Collect songs with your phone in your pocket using Live Activities, keep every find in your Garden, turn it into an Apple Music playlist, and see what your city is playing in the Feed. Hi Product Hunt! I'm Denis, and I am so excited to finally share Meadow with you!!
Back in 2018, when I switched my major to Computer Science, a friend told me to think of an app I'd love to build one day. I picked this one. I failed spectacularly. Databases, servers, design, marketing... I didn't know any of it yet. So I made myself a promise to come back once I did. Years later, after a lot of weekends, here it is!
Meadow lets you plant a song at a real place. Anyone who walks by can listen, collect it, and plant their own for the next person. Think Pokemon Go, but every catch is a song someone chose for that exact spot. A bench in a park. The corner where you had your first date. The street you walk home on.
We're told by algorithms what to listen to next all day long. I wanted music discovery to feel like an adventure again, with real people behind every song.

@quadralift, this is so cool. I just came back from my first trip ever to NYC. Every street corner, every visit triggers a song in my mind. I wish I had Meadow for my trip.
Do I need Apple Music to hear a song someone planted, or does it play for anyone walking by?
@adamvisu Apple Music is only required for features like auto-planting and playlist creations; However, anyone can hear a 30-second preview of the song for free! Meadow uses Apple's preview catalog. No purchase necessary to enjoy Meadow's core features :)
This is cool. There should also be an app that has a list of songs or order of song items that are equal to your journey.
You know. My way from town to home is not 6kms but 12 songs – and now, it should create a list of 12 playing songs equal that 6km duration walk. :D
