Looking forward to test the app, my mom had cancer and we had to scan all the documents and analyzes - it would be very convenient to have all the data in one place and no in the general health history, because its treated differently and has plenty of detailed specifics. So, imho its great idea to isolate cancer diagnoses from general health and make one-stop solution (could be community based, story sharing, cases etc).
Thanks Serik! Yea we are still early days but would love to make this app as helpful as possible for people wanting to manage that journey. Please don't hesitate to reach out or connect with me if you have any ideas for the app from your own experience, would love to hear them 🙌
What a brilliant example of how technology and innovation can be employed to lift an area of the health system that desperately needs it.
Having a single place to keep track of appointments and medications shared across carers and health professionals is genius.
The world doesn't stop and wait and get any less hectic because you're sick. It just gets harder to keep all the plates spinning. So the order and peace of mind a platform like Mend brings to the chaos of cancer and other serious illness will make a world of difference to the human side of the battle, which is equally essential but currently lags behind the clinical side of the system.
This is only the first iteration of the platform, and the sky is the limit. Having worked with Noah in the past and seen the quality and attention to detail in his solutions, I am excited to see where this journey takes him and Matt and the impact they can have on digital health management.
The Android version of the app is super professional and polished, especially for the first release. As far as future features go, an intuitive way for users going through similar experiences to reach out and communicate with each other would help to make members feel less alone in their struggles.
Having access to community members who have been through specific experiences as part of their journey who can then shed some light on these to help reduce anxiety and uncertainty for other users would be huge. Linked third-party services may already cover this functionality, but a solution 100% native to the app would be incredible.
Mend is a great name. The design is clean and pro and perfect for a health-focused application. Congratulations guys, you should be proud of yourselves. Can't wait to see what is next!
