I’m especially happy to hear that monolog feels useful alongside tools like Obsidian and Notion, rather than needing to replace them. That’s very close to what I hoped it could be — a place where you can capture something immediately, without first deciding where it belongs.
And your point about revisiting and connecting older thoughts is especially helpful. I want to keep monolog simple, but at the same time make it much easier to rediscover things as your records grow over months and years. Finding that balance is something I care a lot about.
If you use the Chrome extension as well, I think you may find it even easier to collect and keep useful things while browsing the web, without breaking your flow.
