I've been on musicoin for around three/four months. The music community is supportive of each other, which I think is of great value and a sign of it's future potential. It is still in a developing stage but just after a few months I can see that it works, it can be a real future for music. I'm sold on it.
I'm a newbie to crypto currencies and at first I didn't understand how this would work. Who would pay anything, even crypto currency, for music these days when it's free... was my thinking.
After a few months i see clearly how it could really thrive and create a new environment for sharing that works both ways, such as, listeners being rewarded, sharing coins with the listeners, curators of playlists, musicians rewarding one another and so forth.. it could be a nearly self sustaining ecosystem of music listeners and artists.
I also work in publishing/licensing.. I can't wait to see what this could do in that side of the industry... the way the money moves is absolutely baffling, I don't know how anyone could track it or understand it.
Musicoin has really opened up a lot of possibilities in my thinking of how the music industry could be revolutionized.
I have not found a better use of cryptocurrency nearly every other coin is based on blind faith and fluctuates too much this is a great example of how the block-chain can help and move us forward.
From my experience I've only witnessed Musicoin continue to get better and develop more ways to make it beneficial to the artist and fans.
I've been using Musicoin for a couple months. Although I have not made a lot from it I have been compensated more fairly than on other music sites I have used. I don't feel like I have been using the site to its full potential but I am working to change that as I see the potential of this being a lucrative opportunity to earn money from what I'm already creating.
Making steps forward and 2018 looks bright for the project.
Definitely listen to the music on Music. You won't regret it, You have my words.
Not a great deal to be improved on developer wise, there is huge growth potential in Musicoin and its only a matter of time before it transforms from 'best kept secret' to 'mainstream platform' - the addition of a big artist name in the music industry would certainly accelerate its popular adoption into the millions of daily users. However the Unique Selling Point may be in the fact independent labes and artists are the current majority of the music, and for the listener - a change from the repetitive and exhausting pop trends of radio/top 40 may be refreshing change for them to hear something different.
A friend introduced me to musicoin. From the first moment, I thought it was a revolutionary experience, I still think about it.
Been using it for 12 months and it’s my favourite by far
