There is so much depth and so much detail in this game; it is simply amazing. I usually don't enjoy choose-your-own-adventure games because they usually have a disconnect between the dialogue choices and their effects, most choices have no consequences, and they feel like storybooks on rails. Night in the Woods is absolutely none of that. Everywhere you look, there is some little thing that can be done. Even if it doesn't build towards the main plot, it teaches you more about the characters or the world of the game.
