NotchNook

This is a cool little app that shows a lot of promise. Unfortunately, it's pretty immature and the developer is very aggressively pushing to paid plans with a 3 day "trial". I tried it. I liked where it was going, but there is no way I can decide after a few hours of actual use. I think I might really like Notchnook, but I cannot possibly decide in 3 days. Please rethink your trial policy. What's the downside to giving 30 days? You just made me uninstall the app. maybe I will come back, maybe I wont. The false sense of urgency leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's totally unnecessary. Also, the app is pretty immature to be asking for money. If you want early fans to support your work, call it something else. Buy me a coffee? Donate? Become a charter supporter? But right now, it's "pay me NOW for something the kinda works and which I won't let you try for any reasonable amount of time."

So far, works wonders! Just like the iPhone notch it displays the current music playing and in addition can be configured to display a whole plethora of other information such as date, mirror, shortcuts e.t.c. So far have only been using it on trial, and if everything goes well, I'm planning to buy the full plan. Recommend 10/10. Must have if you have a MacBook with a notch :))
