I have three of the first Oomph's! One at work, one in my camping/walking kit, and one at home.
All still working 3 years after purchase.
They have been in daily use at home and in work.
The third one is just for camping, but I rotate them at the end of the camping season (October/November) to keep the wear and tear even over the three.
There have been improvements made based on the initial launch model - the guys at Oomph listen and implement requests from users!
So looking forward to the new v2.0.
Get one, or two, or three!
Oh, just so you know, no affiliation with the company or anything, I just truly appreciate being able to brew the coffee wherever I am.
My story is I used to use a plastic cafetiere which leaked, some of the grounds got past the filter, eventually broke it camping.
The housing split.
So I started looking for an alternative - as it happened, Oomph was on Kickstarter with a week to go, so I took a chance.... so glad I did!
Best regards,
Austin
