Oustro

Howdy everyone, I am super excited to launch Oustro on Product Hunt and I hope you go check it out and see what we've been working on! I started Oustro while I was writing a screenplay for a movie (not a very good one). As I began scene 9, it dawned on me, what am I supposed to do with this when I finish? It's not like I know anyone who can help edit, produce, or make this film for me so did I really just waste a week writing this? Interested to find the answer to that questions I did some googling and found out, I pretty much had. Unless some producer accidentally reads it thinking it was the other famous version of me, nothing was going to happen to it, thus the idea of Oustro was born. With Oustro the vision is to create a place where anyone can come and publish anything in a PDF and HTML format. I choose PDF and HTML, because of their versatility and ease of creation, with a little bit of effort a plain PDF can look like TIME Magazine and a HTML page can look like the front page of Google. However, I knew generating a living wage is something that a lot of people in the creative space struggle with, but that's where web3 comes in. With web3 I hope to bring the principle of community from the web3 space and translate that to groups on Oustro, groups who have a deep connection to ideas, cultures, characters, settings, stories, works on Oustro. So all in all, Oustro is a platform where anyone can publishing anything without fear of censorship while getting supported by doing so and connecting with their audience on a deeper level. At the same time Oustro is also a platform where anyone can view anything, without fear of paywalls, while at the same time getting a chance to connect more deeply with those they follow.
