Most AI assistants help you get things done. Quest takes the time to understand your personality, values, ambitions, and motivations. More than just remembering conversations, it's a personal AI advisor that helps you reflect, navigate difficult choices, and make decisions aligned with who you are. Not another assistant telling you what to do, but a thoughtful advisor helping you find your own path.

Hey Product Hunt I’m Vincent, co-founder of Quest.
Why we built it
For a long time, I was jealous of people who had a passion. I found mine by accident. I grew up in the French countryside, spent way too much time on the internet, and at 20 I discovered Kickstarter: founders on camera, inventing crazy cool things and convincing people to make them real. That’s when I knew I wanted to build. I was lucky to find my quest.
But when I look around, I see a lot of people with real potential who haven’t found theirs, people close to me included. Talented people stuck in the infinite feed, in a life that feels kind of meh. That’s what I want to fight, and that’s what Quest is for.
How it works
Quest is your most personal AI. It lives in iMessage, studies you like a profiler and builds a full memory of you. Its job is to advise you, not to assist you: a secret helper in your corner for all your (side) quests. You stay in control, and our iOS companion app lets you edit and correct your Memory anytime.
What makes it different
Transparency or nothing. You cannot use Quest if you're not giving full access to your agent so it can learn who you are and personalize its advice.
Phone use. Quest has its own always-on Android phone, and can install apps like WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok.
Fluid UI. Quest builds tailor-made iOS mini-apps to help you on your quests. Even iMessage will feel different.
Mothership of AI assistants. Quest can manage your Instinct and Muse on your behalf, giving them only the minimum viable context.
Self-improving proactivity. Quest is ambient and reacts to anything, not just your emails. Its proactivity keeps evolving: give it feedback, or let it learn from its mistakes.
Get started
Download Quest: http://start.new.quest and connect your apps. Quest does the rest, right in iMessage.

i wonder if question can notice when someone's goals or priorities change over time. People grow, and their AI advisor should be able to grow with them.
@aiden24 Totally agree, and that’s a big part of how Quest works. It’s always reflecting on what’s changing in your life, so it can pause a goal when something more pressing comes up, adjust a plan that no longer fits, and learn over time which coaching style actually works for you.
@odeth_negapatan1 Thank you so much! The most surprising thing so far has been people using Quest for their side quests, like keeping up with friends, exploring a new city, or picking up a new hobby. It’s amazing to see Quest helping people enjoy the small moments in their lives.
one thing i'd want to know is how much control users have over what Quest remembers. Personal conversations should always feel private.
@velvet_trace You have complete control. You can see everything Quest remembers and correct, delete, or add anything you want. You also choose which apps to connect, so Quest only learns from the sources you pick. For messaging apps, we know you don’t want to hand over every conversation, so you can choose exactly which chats Quest can see and learn from. And your conversation stays yours, it lives in your own sandbox, never sold, and never used to train models.
privacy seems especially important for a product like this because users may share very personal thoughts. How do you handle and protect that information?
@leoparker1965_alt Totally agree, which is why we take it seriously. Your data lives in a private sandbox that holds only your data, powered by Blaxel (https://compliance.blaxel.ai).
We use several model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Typesafe, and Baseten) and make sure none of them can store your data. We try to be as transparent as possible, so feel free to check out our privacy notice: https://new.quest/#privacy
Does it ever disagree with you?
@alicia_verrando Yes! If your plan doesn’t add up or you’re going easy on yourself, Quest will push back and challenge your thinking. It also learns over time which coaching style works best for you.
@alicia_verrando Yes! Q. can push back, and also can push you to i.e. do the thing you don't want to do (I have a "be handy" quest like this. Q's also very good about remembering/learning your preferences too so if you don't like it to be to push you, you can just ask it not to.
i like this idea sometimes you don't need an AI to give you answers, you just need something that helps you think clearly and understand what you really want.
@pixel_echo Exactly! That’s a big part of what we’re building. When you’re facing a decision, Quest doesn’t just hand you an answer, It asks the right questions, challenges how you’re framing things, and helps you figure out what actually matters to you. Thanks for the support!
