Hey hunters Two things shipped this week:
1. AI search: describe the film you want, or paste a link. Type something like "30s dark launch film for a dev tool, fast cuts, no voiceover", or paste any launch video link. Claude reads your brief, pulls 40 candidates from the library, ranks them and gives you the closest picks with a reason for each. You can watch it work live, then refine with one click: vertical, under 30s, with voiceover, faster cuts, or "more like the top pick"
This is great. Just signed up for a yearly pro sub - i have some more questions, how can i get in touch? There is no help/support links on the site.
@zarathustra feel free to reach out on X https://x.com/pratyushrungta or pratyush987@gmail.com
There is a contact button down on the footer
@nathanwindsor Thanks Nathan
Yes we will be adding ton more references here, will make it biggest curated library for any kind of video
Appreciate the support!!
Sick work! Congrats on the launch
@saxenasaheb Appreciate the support
Congrats on the launch!
the "average of every launch film it's seen" framing is a sharp way to put the actual problem, but I'd worry the fix just moves the averaging one layer up. if Claude is picking the closest-matching reference out of 3000 films for a given brief, isn't the output now the average of whichever handful of references got selected, rather than one coherent director's choice? curious how much the blueprint constrains the pick versus leaving Claude to blend two or three "close enough" references into something that's referential but not quite anything
@galdayan Fair point, but I’d frame it less as averaging and more as direction.
When you ask Claude to make something and don’t know which direction to take, that’s where Refs helps most: find a film that feels right and hand it to Claude as the direction.
And if you like a direction but the quality isn’t there yet, point Claude to a film that nails that same direction, and it takes inspiration from how that one was actually made.
@pratyushrungta that distinction makes sense for the "feels right" case, one reference as a north star. the "takes inspiration from how that one was actually made" part is where I'd want to know more though, does Claude see the actual edit and shot choices from that one film, or just a text description of them. those are very different amounts of signal to hand it
@galdayan sorry for the slow reply, and great question. it sees the real thing now: every film has a frame sheet, an actual frame from every shot plus the first 3 seconds, so Claude looks at the edit, not just reads about it.
the written breakdown sits on top with the timings and why each cut works and this week’s storyboard tool pulls those real stills into the board before anything gets built
