Review of Remotion Lambda
I spent years managing my own Puppeteer (and before that, PhantomJS😱) render system for internal use doing the exact thing this product does, but Remotion has taken it to a whole other level.
Remotion is a whole ecosystem for programmatically building and rendering videos with HTML/CSS/javascript. From multi-platform renderers.. including AWS Lambda... to a player-based web preview... to the eslint rules to help with the tricky parts of distributed video rendering, everything is covered.
I'm a delighted paid customer.

Congrats on the launch -- amazing product! I'm a developer, not a video editor, but on numerous occasions require an edited video. I didn't even think to approach it from a programmatic standpoint which would be much easier for me; definitely going to use this product and I wish you the best of luck! I am actually starting my own product, ezML, which is a computer vision platform for integrating computer vision into apps. If you are interested in growing your feature set by adding computer vision let me know and we can work something out :)
I've been using this incredible tool since I saw it on Product Hunt for the V2 Launch. Support is incredible, not to mention the tools I have built on top of it!

Awesome library! Been using this in the previous versions and Jonny always fixes issues/implements features super fast. The community discord is great too. Can't wait for v4 features.
Using Remotion I can quickly create still images and videos for social media programmatically. Even as I'm not really good with React nor TypeScript, the docs and the community are very helpful so I can build anything I was looking for.

Remotion is an awesome underrated tool to produce videos with React. What I like best is that you can use any cutting-edge web dev feature in it.
I wish I had more time to play with it.
Absolutely love the idea and execution. I've been able to create my first VaaS: video as a service! Just tried out the new Remotion Studio – development have become much easier since you can change the data, colors, etc fast. And encoder settings – before, I had to mess around in my remotion.config.ts to find the optimal settings, now I can do this interactively which is very nice.
