I had to file a claim almost a month ago due to a break in and burglary in my home. I had all the requested documents, receipts, police report, etc to them within 24 hours of their request and even received an email from my claim rep letting me know she completed processing and how much I'd be receiving. That email was on 5/26/23 and still no payment. to date, I have had to call 24 times and email 17 times for status updates and have yet to receive a single return call as I am continually promised. "I will escalate to management" is their favorite phrase and it means nothing. Goodcover uses it and NARS uses it whenever they dont have an answer or when you won't allow them to keep sending you back and forth between the two entities which are conveniently on opposite coasts with a 3 hour time difference. If you have options, look elsewhere for renters insurance.
