Replying to clients in another language? Skip the constant trips to a translator. Sayloe is a lightweight Mac app that works right where you write. Select text and double-tap ⌘ to translate it, or use the same shortcut without a selection to dictate a reply. Speak in your language, translate your words, and review before inserting them into a supported field. From emails to everyday chats, spend less time copying and switching apps—and more time getting your message across.

Hi Product Hunt!
I’m Levit, the maker of Sayloe.
Every time I replied to someone in another language, I found myself copying text, opening a translator, checking the result, and copying it back.
Once or twice is fine. Throughout the day, it gets tiring.
That’s why I built Sayloe for my Mac.
One shortcut handles two everyday tasks: double-tap ⌘.
Select text to preview a translation, then copy it or replace the original in a supported text field.
With nothing selected, start voice dictation. Review your transcript, then insert it as spoken—or translate it before insertion.
Keep basic formatting such as bold, italics, links, and line breaks where the source and destination support it.
I’m building it for people who communicate across languages: freelancers replying to overseas clients, salespeople discussing project details, and anyone juggling multilingual messages.
Sayloe is currently a free beta with usage limits. It requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later. Voice dictation and AI translation require an internet connection. Direct replacement depends on the app and text field.
If you try it, I’d love to hear which app you use it in and what still feels awkward. Those everyday details are what I most want to improve.
Thanks for taking a look!
