Hey Product Hunt š
I kept spending ten minutes in Figma on every screenshot I posted: cropping, centring, adding a background, blurring an email I almost missed. Screenshotty does that the moment you capture.
A few things I'm proud of:
⢠The picker snaps to the element under your pointer, even sections of a web page, so you never drag a box and miss by three pixels
⢠It reads the text on your Mac and covers API keys, emails and card numbers before you share
⢠It trims stray edges and centres the result to the pixel, so a sloppy capture still comes out clean
It's free with no watermark, no account and no subscription, and the code is on GitHub under MIT. Teams can share a brand watermark and a folder of house styles.
New in 1.1: scrolling capture, copy text out of any screenshot, pin a shot above your other windows, and your own list of words to hide, all from the first round of community feedback. What would make you switch from your current tool?
