Why we built Shan?
At Accubits, each project proposal we create consumes a significant investment. On average, we spend $1300 on every proposal, regardless of whether it results in a project win. Monthly, we create about 30 comprehensive documents that range from proposals and concept identification documents to technical document decks. Every single proposal takes roughly 42 interdisciplinary man-hours, taking over a week to produce a single proposal.
We realized the transformative potential of generative AI and large language models to solve this challenge we were facing. By harnessing their capabilities, we've empowered our analysts to create proposals in just minutes rather than weeks. This shift doesn't merely speed up our process; it allows our analysts to be more strategic in their work.
And today, we're offering this as a tool for everyone to transform their business analysis. I would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or questions!
@jackson_huge Thank you! Currently we are giving the 50 people who signup a sneak peak into the product and a free report. If you’re interested, feel free to send us your information.

On the About Me page, the name of the university in the background is AI spaghetti nonsense. Since the name of the university is called out in the accompanying text, the text in the image should be changed to match. Also on the About Me page, the areas like Product Analysis have five icons, quartered circles, that are not interactive and have no relation to the text. What are they supposed to be?
@kevin_t_ hey Kevin, thank you so much for a detailed response, we always like when our community members are specific. So to answer both your questions
1. We wanted everything about Shan AI to be generate by AI(from her images-to website content) we used diffusion models to generate the university images and we all know that text generation is still in the making. So hopefully once Text generation is more advanced, we will be able to get more accurate results.
2. The quartered circles are suppose to represent skill levels of Shan. Do you think it’s not self-explanatory? Should we think about a better way to represent skill levels on website ?
Let us know. Feedbacks are always welcome.

@shandhra_ramana I saw every quartered circle set as the same, I think it was four full circles and one quarter circle. I didn't equate those infographics with the AI's capability, but I will take a second look right now...I'm afraid I simply don't see those circles as related to any metric. And since the four categories have exactly the same rankings, it's extra confusing.
@kevin_t_ All the images we use on the website are AI-generated images. These images are generated using our own text-to-image diffusion models. The quartered circles indicate the skill level of Shan in performing corresponding tasks. Thank you for the feedback, Kevin; we'll review it in detail and make changes if required.
@kevin_t_ hey Kevin, just wanted to quickly update you that we’ve made the change on the website. Now replaced those quarter circles with “%”. Let me know your thought. Is it more self-explanatory?
@hey_its_kas hey Kat, it doesn’t integrate with zappier. For the beta launch it’s an extension that can be downloaded on google docs and by just answering product related questions, the entire plan is created for the user. Starting from market research - user stories for the entire product.
Btw we will also be adding creating wireframes and UI components based on user stories to Shan AI’s skills.
@stepheliz In the current version of Shan, all stored information is deleted after 7 days following the generation of a report. This feature is designed for the convenience of our users, allowing them the flexibility to create modified reports based on previously generated ones.
We're excited to announce a forthcoming feature, named "Assistant Analyst." This enhancement will empower users to ask questions about their generated reports and request modifications. If a user engages with the Assistant Analyst, the information will be stored in a vector database until the user decides to delete the associated document.
For our enterprise and SME users, there's an option to host Shan on their own infrastructure and databases.
