Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We're excited to introduce Share - a mobile app designed to make investing simpler for consumers through automation, collaboration, and easy diversification. *Background* Share is the result of two years of experimentation with social, group, and automated investing. We've seen commission free trading and fractional investing make placing a trade easier and cheaper than ever before, but the process of portfolio management has actually gotten harder as access and options have increased. By portfolio management we mean things like when to buy, how to direct your capital amongst different assets, and what diversification looks like. We see two broad approaches available in the market today. Either totally automated / hands off (think robo-advisor or mutual fund) or do everything yourself manually. We wanted an in-between option for people like us who want to play an active role in their investments, but don't want to work so hard. If you're curious how we ended up here, you can read our full story here: https://sharedd.substack.com/p/a... *What we do* We allow you to create one or many *strategies* - basically a bundle of assets - and invest in all of them with equal weights on a recurring basis. You can do this alone, or decide as a group by proposing and voting on assets. Over time, we plan to add things like automatic portfolio rebalancing and tax strategy optimization. *Do we really need another investing app?* We know what you're thinking. Gamestop, Wall Street Bets, crypto winters, market meltdowns... is now really the time to launch another investing app? We think given the market chaos over the past couple of years that now more than ever people can benefit from taking a simple, long term and recurring approach to their investments. We're opening up the waitlist to Product Hunt, so use code "PH" to get in! We welcome any thoughts, questions, or feedback. 🙏 (Note: we are only able to support US tax residents at the moment) Happy investing.

@kareemsabri Congrats, this is a super under-rated tool! Stanely Druckenmiller often talks about position sizing to maximize returns, and there's no easy way to systematically approach this. I see this as a huge win for everyday investors.
Karim
@simon_gu2 thank you, really appreciate it!

I've been a beta user for a few months and it's a great product. Nice way to crowdsource stock picks and sense check your thinking. Also just a fun way to chat and make trades with friends.

Been using the app for a couple months now. Nice and easy way to do direct indexing. I also love the goofy chats that come up when someone proposes a new stock for our group.
Karim
@jeremy_dye Thanks for being a beta tester!

I have been using Share to invest for a few months now. It's a really well-built product that fills a gap that no other brokerage does. I'm excited to see you all launch and excited to see Share grow. Great stuff, team.

Big fan of this product. Makes investing a ton more fun by making it social while keeping good discipline. Like if Wallstreetbets wasn't super toxic basically.
