Booking a stay, I kept doing the same thing: open the listing, open Google Maps, and try to answer "is this actually a good place to be?" Reviews tell you about the room, not about whether the nearest market is a 25-minute uphill walk.
So I built Should I Stay Here? You paste an Airbnb or Booking link (or drop a pin) and it scores the surroundings, never the listing, on four things:
Tourism: what there is to see nearby, weighted by how touristy the destination is
Walkability: distances plus terrain, because 800 m flat and 800 m up a hill are different walks
Convenience: markets, pharmacies, places to eat within walking distance
Mobility: how easily you can leave the city (airports, intercity hubs)
Every score is explainable from the places it found, so you can see why a 7.8 is a 7.8.
What it doesn't do: price, reviews, cleanliness, safety scores. It's free and needs no sign-up. It earns through affiliate links when you book a better-located stay it suggests.
I'd love feedback, especially on places you know well where the score feels wrong.
