Does Snapr include AI-powered audio transcription or auto-generated captions/subtitles for the recorded clips? That would be a game-changer for quick async video demos!

I'm curious: after using Snapr for a while, do people mostly come back to search for past information, or does it become more of a daily capture habit?
@ir3ne Great question! So far, it’s becoming more of a daily capture habit. People use Snapr to quickly get thoughts out of their heads, while search helps them find and revisit those ideas later.
I’m still learning from early users, though!
@msaeedi I really like that distinction between capture and retrieval. It sounds like getting ideas out quickly is what builds the habit, while search becomes valuable over time. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves!
The voice-to-notes flow sounds really smooth, but a built-in cross-meeting search would seal the deal for me. Like, I type a client name and it pulls up every related note, bookmark, and file across different days. Right now it feels like I'd still need to dig through individual meetings to piece things together.
@wiley_quenington Love this comment, and yes, that's very much where I want to take Snapr. Search already scans across your notes, but the next step is connecting related stuff behind the scenes, so typing a client or project pulls everything together, across days and meetings. We're already exploring meetings as part of that. Thanks for nudging in this direction.
the capture-now-organize-later approach is the right call, most people abandon note apps at the structuring step. curious about the search side though - since the AI restructures your voice note before storing it, does search match against your original spoken wording or the cleaned-up version? asking because sometimes what i remember saying out loud drifts from how it gets rewritten, and i'd want search to still find it even if my search phrase matches my memory more than the stored text.
@omri_ben_shoham1 Yeah. Great question. Snapr already lets you search by meaning, so you don't need the exact wording. That said, we do keep the raw transcript, and searching across both versions is something we're looking into to improve reliability.
Keeping the raw transcript around is the right call even before you get to the cross-search part - at minimum it means the original wording isn't lost forever if the cleaned-up version ever drifts from what you meant. Good luck with it, will keep an eye out for that update.
