We believe sobriety is easier to protect in this age when you keep it in mind, Sober Voice keeps recovery present through affirmations, notifications, visible progress, and our Home Screen widget. Your reasons stay close, and practical tools remain within reach when cravings, boredom, or difficult emotions appear. AFFIRMATIONS THAT KEEP RECOVERY PRESENT What you repeatedly bring your attention to can influence how you think, respond, and see yourself.
After struggling with addiction for almost 10 years, I have now been sober for nearly two years.
I built Sober Voice around one belief: sobriety is easier to protect when you keep it present in your mind.
I’ve been analyzing sobriety and affirmation apps and their onboarding, and usually, it starts with a questionnaire, and then the user experiences a paywall with the surprise element of, “It’s actually a paid app.”
Considering that my audience consists of people who may be struggling with money, which is usually a symptom of addiction,
I started the onboarding with honesty by showing the price right away and presenting the paid features in Steve Jobs’ style, as simply as possible.
I kept the number of features to a minimum and focused on the user as much as possible.
It combines recovery affirmations, notifications, a Home Screen widget, sobriety tracking, daily readings, journaling, and practical tools for cravings and boredom.
A review on Google Play would also be appreciated. The app will soon be available on the App Store too, but it seems Apple is busy this month, and we are still in the review queue.
