Will Shortz of the New York Times calls me a "professional puzzle-maker," but more than anything I just love entertaining and challenging as many people as possible, just to see the smiles. After 15 years of publishing hundreds of crosswords and several puzzle books, I'm always on the lookout for new ways to engage fellow word lovers. That's where Squeezy comes in! It's a fun way to flex your vocabulary muscles and see language in a new light. i love this daily game and recommend it often. my favorite part is that whenever i can't guess the theme, it turns out to be a really sideways pun that makes me laugh. it's like a special prize for finding all the answers. seeing words in new ways and noticing words within words, this game is a ton of fun!

I’ve been playing Squeezy for several weeks now… I love to pop on and play in “Breezy” mode as part of a quick morning workout. I enjoy it most when I play it like a word scramble and try to decode the letters before figuring out where to “squeeze” them into the words. I’m also a longtime fan of Jeff Chen’s contributions to the NYT crosswording community. He’s a masterful puzzlemaker and a tremendous mentor for countless new constructors. Coming from Mr Chen, it’s no surprise that Squeezy would rank right up there with the best of the “daily games”.
