Localize the UI inside App Store and Google Play screenshots. StoreLocale detects text, translates it into 32 languages, and repaints it in place while keeping the layout intact. Review results in the editor, then export PNGs grouped by store, language, and size. The editor is free; use your own Gemini or OpenRouter API key, or buy one-time credits for AI image generation.

We built StoreLocale because translating the headline around a screenshot still leaves the app UI in English. StoreLocale detects text inside App Store and Google Play screenshots, translates it into 32 languages, and repaints the UI while keeping the original layout intact. Review each result, then export PNGs by store, language, and size. I’d love feedback on translation quality, which languages you need most, and where this could fit into your release workflow.
Do you have Figma plugin?
@vijayanandkailash No Figma plugin right now. StoreLocale has its own browser editor, so you can upload screenshots directly without Figma. Would a plugin fit your workflow better?
@onder_akdemir As long as browser editor generates images in high quality, it works.
when english gets replaced with korean the text length changes a lot. does it adjust the layout, or does it just overlay the translation and hope it fits?
@inhwa The homepage live demo is just an example; it isn’t the full Studio workflow. In Studio, we detect and translate each string, then ask the repaint model to fit the translated text into the original UI area. It tries to preserve the layout, but results still need review. You can edit a translation before repainting; changing it afterward means regenerating that screenshot.
The repaint-in-place part is what I'd want to test first — translated text in a different language almost never fits the original button or label, so keeping the layout intact is the hard part. I'm curious how it handles text that expands a lot in German or shrinks in Chinese, and whether the review step lets me nudge a single string without redoing the whole screenshot.
@jcbuilds That’s exactly the tricky part. We ask the repaint model to fit longer translations, but the results are generative, so every language needs a visual check. You can edit an individual translation before repainting; if you change it after seeing the result, StoreLocale currently regenerates that screenshot rather than nudging just that string. I’d love to hear how it handles one of your German or Chinese screenshots.
Translating the headline still leaves half the screenshot in another language. Nice to see the actual UI text included, with a chance to review each image before export.
@oleksii_sekundant Thanks! That’s the gap we wanted to address. Glad the review step stood out. If you try it on a real screenshot, I’d love to hear how it goes.
