I've been waiting for SSB to arrive on the Switch since I got my console a year ago.
The game is beautiful, deep, and designed to appeal to a wide variety of gamers:
- Collectors will love it (the Spirit system is very Pokemon-like).
- Those that love competition will enjoy the online play and leveling system.
- Cooperative players will gravitate toward the team battle modes.
This is probably my favorite game of the year (granted, I haven't been playing games that much lately). 😊
This game is truly wonderful. Wanted a multiplayer game that wouldn't be too one sided for one player, but the addition of Cappy as a character lets the second player do so much more than expected.
The storyline is great, and the game expands so much more after completing it. We completed the story a few weeks ago but have been exploring past worlds for hidden secrets and woking towards fully completing the game.
The costumes are brilliant, adding some of Mario's past into the mix. The range of costumes is amazing and will keep you playing for many more hours trying to collect them all. (Cross dressing Mario available which is a step up)
Ultimately best game for Switch so far! Looking forward to more and hoping for some DLC
