"Tinder exhaustion" is a thing, and this app is the alternative. Real conversations with a hint of game mechanic to keep it fun.
I love the idea, but honestly it's hardly even blurring the photo. In an ideal world, the photo wouldn't be visible at all until you connect with the person. I guarantee that overweight individuals will get significantly less matches than fit people; which in itself destroys the purpose of the app. Even variables like skin color will be clearly visible with the current blurring mechanism. I'd love to match with people completely unbiased, but we all have subconscious biases, and this app is doing virtually nothing to remove those biases.
It's a great idea, but in the current state it's just a slightly different version of tinder.
I've just been testing this for a few hours today, but really loving the unique approach to dating (and just chatting). It's retro yet fits today's expectations. I really can't deal with superficial dating apps, so I'm all for this. Nice work @johnschenk @nwientge @taffy
The concept is really great! I can really see myself immersed in the app once more users sign up around me. Can't wait to see how the app will blossom!
Move over Tinder, there is a new app in town and this one is not just about dating. Think Linkedin meets Match only more social. I am only a few days in, but fun so far!
MUST HAVE BETTER IDEA OF WHAT PERSON LOOKS LIKE FROM THE START TO SEE IF THERE IS SOMEWHAT OF A CONNECTION AND INTERESTED IN PURSUING THE PERSON IN THE FUTURE !!! GET MORE SUCCESS OUT OF CONTACTS !!!
What a great way to get to know people. Pics in the app are actually more blurry than the screen shots here. So, I disagree with the other guy here. They reveal fairly quickly... but yet still require you to have a convo. Reminds me of the days of chat rooms / AIM. Bravo gents!
