Hi Product Hunt! I'm Muaz, and I built Tangibool.
Rules decide who gets access, who qualifies for a discount and which trade is allowed. They usually start as a sentence, become a condition in code, and get checked with a few examples. That's how this one slips through:
"Allow entry to members and invited guests, unless they are banned."
(member OR invited) AND NOT banned ← what was meant
member OR (invited AND NOT banned) ← looks the same, lets a banned member in
Most examples you'd think to try give the same answer for both. Tangibool exists to make that difference visible before anyone finds out the hard way.
What it does
• Write a rule as plain words, a formula or a gate diagram. All three edit one model, so they can't drift apart.
• Ask exact questions: are these equivalent? Can this ever be true? Does the conclusion follow? Is rule A at least as strict as rule B? Small rules are checked on every assignment and cross-checked by a SAT solver. When a check runs out of budget, it says "Not determined", never "passed".
• Every counterexample is replayed through the evaluator before you see it, and one click keeps it as a regression test.
• Go beyond TRUE and FALSE: thresholds on numbers, categories, ordered scales such as credit ratings, "at least 2 of 3", points tables, and outcome sets (Approve / Refer / Decline) checked for gaps and overlaps.
• Treat rules like code: coverage, mutation testing, branches and exact behaviour diffs, without Git.
• Export Markdown, LaTeX, Python, PostgreSQL, SMT-LIB, truth tables and diagrams.
Who it's for: developers untangling conditionals, product and compliance analysts who need a rule stated precisely, and anyone learning logic.
Pricing: only the Free plan is live right now, and it has every feature. Everything runs in your browser, and a free account adds 3 cloud models and 30 AI drafts a month. Paid plans for more cloud storage and AI drafts come later; none can be bought yet.

I'd love your feedback. What rule would you throw at it first, and where did it confuse you?
