Has anyone here actually tried holding onto a phone for 4 years?
Battery life plummets after 1.5 or less.
Software updates usually stop after 2 (3 for iOS and pixel)
Routine freezing and lag happens near the same time, if not before.
Security holes follow the lack of updates.
Stop virtue signaling by asking about material sourcing and instead realize that this is literally the only on the market that GUARANTEES 4 years of life. And yeah, most people do get rid of a phone after 1-2 years because of aforementioned problems and no more warranty to deal with said problems.
And obviously, if you're dumb enough to run over your phone with your car, you'll have to pay for a fix. Why is that even a complaint?
