Tethral is making it so anyone (even your parents) can easily connect and control their IoT devices just by chatting with our AI in our iOS and Android app. We think making routines and automations specific to your unique collection of devices should be easy AND private. We're calling it vibe-control. We are opening up Early Access for PH explorers to kick the tires and tell us what you've always wished your IoT system could do. It might just end up on the roadmap.

Hi Legends! I'm John, founder of Tethral.
I am so excited to share with you the future of vibe-controlled, privacy-first IoT orchestration.
I know, I know. ALL those things at the same time sound like a lot. But TBH the general state of IoT is so busted it needed an overhaul.
I started building Tethral (short for Tether It All) about a year ago because I couldn't get my IoT devices from different providers to do something useful without additional hardware or having to code connections myself. Even then, I still had 10 different apps for 10 different devices, and it was a nightmare to try and coordinate them all. Add in 10 obscure terms of services agreements and I had no idea where my data was going.
Out of that came Tethral, an easy and private way to connect, automate, and orchestrate your devices. It's always been about people deciding what they need without waiting for the ecosystem to provide a generic automation or trading away your privacy to make devices connect.
Six months ago, I brought in a team to supercharge the build and here we are, finally ready to put it out there for real feedback. We will also be showcasing the full vision at CES in January 2026. If you sign up on our website, you may get an invitation to livestream the CES event!
I would love your thoughts here, BUT if you're not comfortable typing and find it easier to talk, DM me and we can schedule 15 min to chat about the product.Â
I’ve been into smart-home stuff for years, but at some point it just got tiring. Too many apps, too many different setup processes, and half the time nothing worked or it had me going trough repetitive setup. I basically gave up experimenting.
Tethral has been a pleasant surprise. What I liked is that it didn’t make me redo everything from scratch. It recognized most of my devices right away, and the app is simple enough that I didn’t feel like I needed a manual to use it.
The routines are easier to set up than what I’m used to, and the whole thing just feels… calmer? Less messy? I’m still testing it, but so far it’s been the smoothest smart-home experience I’ve had in a long time.
Sharing in case anyone else is tired of the usual smart-home chaos.
This is the first time I’ve seen smart home tech focus on mood and experience instead of just features.
