That something like this is necessary in the United States in 2022 is a very sad thing indeed. I find it absolutely appalling when I sit and watch the 6th of January hearings from afar, here in Australia.....and hear that Donald J Trump, as US President, was inciting an insurrection in order to prevent the peaceful transfer of power. That's Democracy Busting Stuff Right At THe Citadel Of US Power, Order and Prestige. And then I'm even more appalled when I go on to read, day after day, the truly awful Supreme Court decisions being made and handed down by the Court. These decisions have only been made possible because of illegitimate Trump appointees to the bench. Rather than making illegitimate decisions day after day, the 3 Trump appointees, if they had any sense of duty, any sense of honour, and indeed any common sense should step down now that they know the President who put them there was in fact as illegitimate as they are.
