Your team already has things to say, they just don't know how. Our coach helps you stay consistent, find stories worth sharing and makes YOU the writer. Most AI tools take over writing. thestory.run flips it: the coach interviews you, finds the point you're circling, hands you the story arc, and you write it. It is the coach that helps you through it all: One real session, from a messy thought to a finished post. Between the posts, it keeps the week so you never have to guess what's next

@matthew_gladyshev you hit a good topic there. When we did our first user testing we observed that after the initial brainstorm with the coach people expect to have the post written by the end of it. It's a learned pattern from working with LLMs, you just expect the AI to hand you the result. Rewriting a learned behavior is not that easy and it does take some patience (especially with ourselves), but if we persist the personal satisfaction pays it off and hopefully motivates to show up more and more. For the days when one is lazy and just needs a shortcut we have a feature called cheat mode. There are limited cheats per month depending on what is your posting consistency. It's okay to be lazy sometimes :) This cheat however doesn't count towards your progress in your personal stats since it was not written by you.

I have tested this for a bit and think it has a genuinely fresh approach, and that means something in AI-agentic app times. Having people focus on the value of the piece of text you are writing is much needed in these times.

@rolf_mistelbacher thanks for already beta-testing this. always happy to receive feedback before we're hitting producthunt with a new product. keep up your posts on linkedin!
The developer, Johannes, shared the tool with me even before it was officially launched. Normally, I outsource my thinking and creativity to some form of AI, thereby stifling my creativity in the long run (yes, I have already noticed a shrinking of own ideas). This tool, on the other hand, uses AI to help me reclaim my creativity. I really like that. The affordable pricing model is also great. Now all I’m hoping for is an integration with swat.io – then I’d be completely happy.

@geropflueger thanks for sharing your early feedback on using it - glad you reclaimed your creativity! we're working hard on extending features / adding more integrations.
This is definitely something new and worth attention. I tested it and it's really cool. Not yet another AI assistant that writes the posts for you but actually helps you bring out the best writing skills in yourself!

@eugene_nechvoloda1 thank you for the feedback, we believe that anyone can write and get better at sharing their voice authentically. All we need is a little help sometimes and that's where the coach aspect comes in.
And then what? Does the coach take note of what stuck and use it for the next meeting?
Btw, Congratulations @jollife & @maggieja 🎊✌️
thestory.run
@maggieja @aymi_malik it helps you in finding the key messages / arguments of your post, and presents you with a story arc, so that you can write the post yourself, based on the strong messages and the structure that makes sense. just give it a try! it feels magic the first times you're using it.
Turning a messy thought into a post is way harder than it looks haha. I like that this helps people write instead of just dumping another AI-generated post into the feed. Nice work guys! @maggieja
thestory.run
@zach_francis exactly, I believe one of the reasons is because we try to go from a thought straight into posting without fully unpacking what do we want to say in the first place. Once we give ourselves the space to explore the part after (writing) becomes easier and that's what thestory.run coach helps with :)
