A star rating mixes the product, the seller, and reviews that only talk about shipping. It never says whether people would buy it again. they counted is for shoppers deciding before they buy. Search a product and get yes-or-no counts: would buy again, does the job, worth the price, matches the description, broke or stopped. The quotes sit under each count. Delivery-only reviews are left out. A mattress also asks if it sagged or slept hot; headphones ask if the battery matched the claim.

Hey Product Hunt,
A 4.6 from twelve thousand reviews still does not tell you whether people would buy it again. The stars mix the product, the seller, and a review that is only about the box arriving late.
they counted reads the reviews and answers a short list of yes-or-no questions. Would they buy it again. Did it do the job. Was it worth the price. Did it match the description. Did it break. The page shows the count, then the quotes those numbers came from.
This week the lead is the LEGO Ideas Home Alone set. 21 said yes, 2 said no, out of 23 reviews that said whether they would buy it again.
A mattress page also asks whether it sagged, slept hot, or got sent back. Headphones ask whether the battery matched the claim, and whether it died early. A review that is only about delivery is left out, and the page says how many we skipped.
Search is on the home page. There is no account. The shop button is the only way to the store, and those links may earn a commission.
