A pocket money app for families: kids earn through jobs, split every euro into Spend, Save and Grow jars, save for goals and learn money skills in short lessons — a parent approves every step. No ads, no bank card. Free on Android.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the maker of TONKO! 🚀
As a parent, I wanted a simple way to teach my kids about money through real-life habits, not just theory.
So I built TONKO — a free Android app where kids earn pocket money through chores, split it into Spend, Save & Grow jars, set savings goals, and learn financial skills along the way.
No ads. No bank cards. Just smarter money habits from an early age. 💚
I'd love your feedback! What feature would you want in an app like this for your kids?

Can both parents approve from their own phones, or does it all run through one account?
@adamvisu Yes, absolutely! 🙌 Both parents can use TONKO on their own phones. You simply invite the second parent with a link, and both can create jobs, approve completed chores, and follow the kids' progress. No need to share an account or pass one phone around! 😄💚
@iamcanarin Good, an invite link is the easy way to do it
Nobody taught me money as a kid. I learned it from real bills in my twenties, so this one hits home. Spend, Save and Grow jars are such a simple way to build the habit early. Congrats on the launch!
@lohith_paturu Thank you so much! 🙌 I can totally relate to that. Most of us learned about money the hard way, and that's exactly what inspired me to build TONKO. I wanted to give kids a chance to learn those lessons early, through small everyday decisions rather than expensive mistakes later in life. Really appreciate your support! 💚
The app should also be for adults because some of them really do not know how to manage their finances.
@busmark_w_nika Haha, you're absolutely right! 😄 Honestly, I think a lot of us adults could use a refresher on money habits too. For now, I'm focusing on making financial literacy simple and fun for kids, but who knows, maybe an adult version someday! Thanks for the idea! 💚
@busmark_w_nika Fiscal dysfunctions are genetically transmitted.
This is a great app, because we still give our child cash and she keeps it in the jar.
@andrey_grigoryev1 Thank you! 🙌 I actually love that! There's something special about kids having real cash and watching their savings grow in a physical jar. TONKO isn't meant to replace that, but to build on it by making chores, goals, and money habits easier to track. Best of both worlds! 💚
For someone who was never taught about money as a kid, I would definitely make use of this app for mine. Solid work mate, good launch
The savings goal gives the three jars something concrete to point to. A child can see what spending a little now means for the thing they're saving up for.
@oleksii_sekundant Exactly! 🙌 That's what I was going for. I want kids to actually see the trade-offs behind their decisions, not just watch numbers go up and down. Having something they're excited to save for makes those little everyday choices much more meaningful. Thanks for checking out TONKO! 💚
