It actually blocks, unlike another extension that goes by "AdBlock". Ublock origin continues to hold strong among services like youtube trying to take them down, but they still manage to block the anti-adblock popups! Awesome!

Big fan of this product. Effective and helpful, and has been durable and consistent year over year. I am confident that they will continue to improve and adapt this product as the internet grows and changes.

This one I would give 6 stars, never got an ad in my life after downloading it as a chrome extension. Props to the people who maintain ad blocking lists, and props to the ublock devs for tirelessly racing against youtube's ad block prevention strategies that happened some time ago.

The only ad-blocker you need! No intrusive ads on YouTube despite Google's shenanigans. Even started using Firefox browser on my android just so I can add this extension on mobile.

uBlock Origin has been the best adblocker and privacy option for me. It's robust, blocks trackers, and blocks even the most stubborn ads (the please disable your privacy blocker ones). It's been my go to for years and there has been no better product out there thus far.
